The Good Kid
The shoot aims to deconstruct the notion of an ideal child as seen by the society and parents. A child is always expected to be smart and obedient. They are instructed not to dispute with their parents or make mistakes. They are expected to excel at all they do and to outperform their peers. The shoot strives to show that it’s alright to be flawed and to defy social norms and parental expectations. Three scenarios have been used to demonstrate that a child who is viewed badly by society is not always horrible. Simply put, they enjoy rebelling against social norms and preconceived notions about them. The shoot conveys that kids who disobey school regulations, keep their room untidy, or spend all day playing in the mud and filth on the playground are all perfectly acceptable in their unique ways.
